报告摘要：Scientific writing is an important part of scientific communication and an essential skill that those engaged in scientific research need to have. The ability to write good scientific papers will have a direct and positive impact on their scientific progress and achievement. This seminar will explore the myths and realities of scientific writing by addressing the following three questions.

1. How to become adept at writing scientific papers?

2. How to overcome the language barrier when writing scientific papers in English?

3. How to coordinate the writing phase and the experimental phase by assuming both the roles of author and investigator at the same time with ease?

Whether you are a graduate student just entering the research field or a researcher with much experience in scientific research, this seminar will help you to see that scientific writing is more than just writing a report.

报告人简介：Sandro Nižetić教授，克罗地亚工程院院士。现任职于克罗地亚斯普利特大学电气工程、机械工程及海军建筑学院。主要从事热力学、能源系统、节能建筑、智能技术以及可再生能源研究领域。发表SCI及会议论文200余篇；担任《Energy Sources，Part A：Recovery，Utilization，and Environmental Effects》期刊主编，《International Journal of Energy Research》和《Journal of Cleaner Production》期刊副主编，于2019至2022连续三年跻身于斯坦福和爱思唯尔发布全球前2% 顶尖科学家榜单。
